The PPDT is a test used in the armed forces selection process. It checks a person's thinking, communication, and personality. Those who qualifies get selected for the next 4 days by the PPDT. there no fixed number. GTO assess by many means;His write up, his read out,his logic, his deliberations,his discussion etc. 

It’s highly discourage to not write any story related to defense and ISSB. rather you can write story about a military film or a cinema characteristics 

No, when the time is up you should not write anything. Remember each instructions given is important to follow. It is not a competition so follow the process

In his notes he writes the observed information about each candidate, after ppdt they judge each candidate based on their collected data and practical behaviour in hut. 

You should not get over excited keep your body language normal and act how you acted in testing hall and other formal places. What written in ppdt script is written now think about the logical aspect of your story. Yeah you can discus with your group mates what they have written in their story. It will help you to keep your discussion and logic building easy before going to hut. 

There are several types of PPDT may come in ISSB for example positive,negative,crowd,inspirational.It's important to know the classification to write a constructive logical story in ISSB

Keep it like that. Don’t write when the time is up. Or else you will be disqualified.  During the time of "read out part" your GTO may give you the chance to complete the story by telling.  For that you have to ask the GTO. Example : "Sir I could complete upto this, If you give me permission I will be able to complete it fully right now. "

There is nothing positive or negative picture. Bring out the fact. Write what exactly it means. If you are optimistic you will write good facts out of the picture. If you are pessimistic, you will write bad facts. Try to do balance. You have to keep in mind that writing something extraordinary will not make you screened it. You need to make a scenario that shows an average mentality within the group mates. 

You should balance.  Try to bring out good facts. Try to make the story positive.  But not by going totally against the flow. 

Write " Crowd" in the spot box. But if you see someone prominent and others as a crowd,  you can write "crowd" in one dot, and usual data of that prominent person in another dot.

Not necessarily. Being a different  story can be an asset , offering your unique perspective or creativity.  Rejection depends on the context and the value placed on diversity in that situation. 

Stay calm and don't get upset. If you're in a situation where someone disagrees with you, don't let your emotions take over. Instead, be polite but firm when you want to share your ideas. You can say something like, 'I understand what you're saying, and I want to share my thoughts too.' Also, use body language like looking at others who might want to talk and giving a little nod. This will help others feel comfortable sharing their opinions.

If everyone doesn't like your idea, try to be open-minded. Listen carefully to what they say, think about the good points, and be ready to make changes. It's good to find solutions that work for everyone, without giving up on what's important to you. If what they suggest makes sense after talking about it, it's okay to agree with them.

For this situation  you’ve to take permission from the Conducting Officer , you say like “ Sir, i couldn’t complete my story due to time limitation , May i complete my full story sir ? “  . If the Conducting Officer gives permission then you can reveal your full story,otherwise you can’t. Don't be over smart if your  story is incomplete admit it to GTO before completing it. 

Actually ISSB is near from Airport. Random Airplane movement  makes loud noises. In that situation it is a good manner to be silent as soon as you hear the sound of the airplane . When you start reading your script or discussion again, you should say for example “ Sorry for the interruption” 

Think of your friends as your audience, and the GTO sir as the one checking your performance. Look at your friends when you talk and share your story confidently. Eye contact is important for good communication. It helps build trust, shows you're sincere, and connects you with others.

Don't always stare at the group to get attention or just to show off. Instead, make normal eye contact with your friends. It helps show that you're confident, paying attention, and genuinely interested in what's happening. Just be yourself, and don't make it seem too serious or like you're trying too hard.

In the discussion part, they check if your ideas make sense. If your way of thinking is okay, then your story is seen as right. Remember, in PPDT, there's no 'wrong' or 'right' story. Whatever you write based on your viewpoint is considered correct.

When you join the discussion, talk at a medium volume. Speak clearly and with confidence so everyone can hear you, but don't be too loud or too quiet. Use a friendly tone that's balanced and respectful to help everyone communicate well.

There is no official time limit for PPDT story discussion. The story discussion continues until everyone has read out and provided logic . 

When someone is sharing their story, listen carefully, look at them, and be genuinely interested. Don't interrupt, let them finish talking before you share your thoughts or ask questions. Show you understand and care with positive body language to make a friendly and inclusive environment.

If there's a problem, calmly step in, but don't argue. Bring the conversation back to the main topic and encourage everyone to talk respectfully. The discussion should be helpful and everyone should working together. 

Remember not everyone here is qualified for being an officer so It's natural this kind of situation can arise so be prepare to handle those situation respectfully as you came here to prove your qualities to be an officer. Try to deal with those situations.

That moment you should listen carefully to others' logic in the discussion. By listening to them you sort out in your mind how you can give your logic because after listening to the logic of others you'll definitely find your logic to some extent. 

When it comes to how you look, wear formal clothes, and if you don't have a Sunnati beard, keep a clean-shaven face. Make sure your hairstyle is decent. When sitting, sit up straight to look confident, and if you cross your legs, do it comfortably

Usually, just one or two well-timed requests are enough. Make sure you contribute meaningfully while also respecting what others have to say.

It's not a must. How often you ask to speak depends on how the discussion is going. If you share your thoughts well the first time and the talk is going smoothly, you might not need to ask again. Remember, What you say is more important than how many times you say it (Quality over quantity).

GTO carefully read your story. If you add more lines, they'll notice. Too many unnecessary lines can make your story less powerful and might seem like you're unsure or not focused. 

If you're not very fluent in spoken English, ISSB might be tougher, but it doesn't mean you'll be rejected. Highlight your strengths in different areas, stay positive and confident, and try to get better at English. Remember, ISSB looks at your potential, not just what you can do now. Being dedicated and willing to learn can really help you.

Even though they might say it's okay to tell your story in Bangla, it's actually a trick. If you speak in Bangla, you might get disqualified. It's better to use English to communicate smoothly and avoid any problems. Remember, they want to see how well you can handle yourself in an English-speaking setting.

They'll give everyone plenty of time to rest in the dormitory before heading to the hut. Hopefully, no one will need a break during the discussion. Again If it's very urgent what can they do , "Nature bounds no rules, go to washroom!"

Don't get involved in illogical arguments; it might lead to being screened out. In such situations, it's better to stay calm and quiet. Sometimes, saying less is better.

1. It's okay to feel nervous; everyone does. Just accept it and try to manage it.

2. Mistakes are normal; don't think too much about them. Move forward and keep contributing.

3. Be yourself; it's better to be real than pretend to be perfect.

4. Trust your preparation and show your strengths. Stay composed and handle pressure well. 

Remember, ISSB want to see how you handle challenges.

You need permission from the conducting officer to read your story. If they say it's okay, you can go ahead. Be professional when asking for permission. The assessors are there to evaluate you, so make sure to complete your story, as they're not concerned about how it ends, but rather how you handle it.

You usually don't need to tell your story again during the discussion. Once you've written it down, focus on explaining how it relates to the discussion. Avoid saying the same things again and stay involved in the ongoing conversation.
